We communicate in other forums on such topics. We use different handles. I have posted in this thread previously. You are obviously well versed in such topics.

I vividly recall my mom and grandma using the long suppos on my younger sisters. I wasn't excluded when they received these or small bulb enemas. The in and out movement was said to help trigger some reaction of the bowel. The suppo was eventually pushed in fully and allowed to melt. The same was true of a soap suppo although an enema usually followed.

My older sister often challenged mom and grandma to just use the enema bag like she and I were subjected to. There was a 4-6 year age difference and my younger sisters had a differnt pediatrician. I always believed this resulted in a different approach and methods of bowel control.

I snuck a suppo or bulb enema now and then but always preferred using the enema bag on myself as I began self administering in an effort to avoid mom and grandma's treatments.
