Vets of WWII are dying off in droves. When others in our age group, including widows, are gone as in dead, who will be left to clean up the mess we created? The nation just went thru 8 long miserable years of Clinton and his evil reign and it is probable that Bush will continue at a slower pace. Starting with Prez Wilson and his League of Nations we now have the United Nations that threatens our freedoms and national sovereignty We can recall how FDR started the nation on the downward path to becoming a welfare/socialistic state. Various Prez and the courts have done much to foster a police state.(FBI, CIA and the IRS come to mind.) Prez Johnson and his Great Society furthered socialism. Yes, we are leaving our children and grand-kids a mess, which could lead to the demise of all American dreams. We can recall all the wars under the flag of the UN since the UN came into power. Can any of you seniors recall the last war in which the U.S. was actually under threat???Pearl Harbor doesn't count since FDR and Churchill Several Prez, from both major parties have given the Panama Canal to China for keeps, breaking laws to do so.
