Subject: close encounters of the dartonesque kind

all right, so i'm at the library returning my younger sister's books, and who do I see but mr. darton himself!

as i was chatting with him about my scores (didn't know them) and various other subjects, i couldn't help noticing that something was odd about him. something peculiar and different...

then as we finished talking and he turned around, i realized it!

HE CUT OFF HIS PONYTAIL!!!!!!!!

i was too surprised to ask him why. the traumatic effects still haven't left me...

i will keep that image in the back of my head for the rest of my life!

i can't believe the words, even though they're right in front of me.

as for ap scores...i need to show up at darton's house sometime soon and gloat my ass--

i got a five.

at least, thats what the telephone thing said. unless they mixed history with chemistry.

darton told me i was probably going to fail. said i'd get a four if i was very very lucky.

i'm just waiting for it to come in on paper...and then i'm going to ask him if thats what he really expected of me.
