Shade ignored the exchanges, and continued with the breifing.
"All right..as soon as everyone's here, we will transfer to Chronopoint Station, where the rest of our force has already gathered. From there, we'll enter the Time Continuium, exiting...here."
A 3-D holographic map showing several star systems appeared. He pointed at one uninhabited system. "Thus system's star is currently suffering a bout of flares, the radiation form which will hide our use of dimensional gates. There we will wait, while Step Two of our plan unfolds.
"For step two...Victoria is going to escape from AniD custody. We've found some sort of listening device on her, which can pick up her conscious thoughts. Luckilly she's been unconscious since we caught her--meaning that while the Guild knows she's been caught, they don't know about our plans, or that we've successfully broken into her mind. So we'tre going to use her as a 'Trojan Horse' of sorts."
He then pulled up a large, briefcase-sized device with a sholder strap. It looked like some sort of scanner. "We are going to have Security wake her up, and weaken the dampening fields effect on her magical powers. She'll then be told that this thing is an "experimental brain-hacking" device--while in fact, it's a Psionic Bomb, releasing a 10-secoond burst of emotional energy which should reduce most of the people at Guild HQ into quivering lumps of fear for the duration. The Guild's Sorcerers and such are stronger-willed and won't be affected long--but the commoners should be affected for most of the mission. We've already placed a post-hypnotic suggestion that will make he break out of her restraints, grap the device, then immediately escape to Guild HQ. The second she sets foot in the place, the bmb will go off, affecting everyone in the building and within a one block radius."
Then Lucca piped in. "The second it goes off, we use our FTL drives to enter the Zealian system and start out attack. We'll first fire an Actuality Bomb into the capital itself--this will prevent anyone, us or them, from using teleportation within a 50-mile radius of the city, Though that'll create some headaches for us, it'll also keep the enemy from sending reinforcements quickly. We'll also drop several Radio Frequency Pulse devices to scramble their sensors and electrical devices, and shell several powerplants to knock out HQ's power supply. Then we'll take the main force down to the planet's surface, break into HQ, and searc for victor. Wiht the guardfs already affected by the Psi Bomb, it should be pretty easy if we move quickly."
"Meanwhile, we'll be launching several diversionary attacks to keep them guessing, as well as maintain cover for the ground operation. Our 1st Mobile Assault Squadron, along with myself and the senior OverSec officers, will be flying cover for the gorund mission. 2nd Squadron will hit other targets on the planet's surface, while 3ed Squadron and all remaining ships, includng Dreamwalker, will go after the Zealian warships and orbital defences in the vicinty." He smiled. Lucca had told him of a third ivention that would definitely even the odds....but for now he kept it to himself. "Finally, we'll be launching several diversionary raids on the ground. An OverSec team will be going after Zeal's main starport facility, while Frieza here"--he smirked at the Frijid-Jin--"will be attacking a massive industrial complex abut 100 miles away from the city, in order to draw off as many Zealian troops as possible. The goal is to spread their forces thin...and to do as much damage as humanly possible, given our limited numbers. Any questions before we continue?"
