"Not much...just the entire brieing," Shade replied, fighting the urge to laugh at Lina's entrance. He then turned to Sasha. "Sorry to pluck you out of there like that, but we were having a hard time tracking you down. We'll fill the two of you in en route."
Lucca spoke up. "Almost forgot...Shade, about the Tachyon Accelerators...they're kinda bulky. I don;t think they'll be compatable wit he YF-21s' Active Stealth systems." She todded a datapad with the statistics over to him.
"Nope..." he agreed as he looked them over. "We'll fit out a couple of the -11's with the Full-Armor mods and use those instead." The six tachyon accelerator weapons were going to play an important role in the attacks on he ships in orbit. They fired a beam of pure anti-tachyon which actually did not damage its target--unles it was protected by some sort of energy field, like a force screen. When it did, the particles snapped back into nomral space and struck, WITHIN the shield, doing severe damage. They were still in the experimental stage, and were so tempermental that, by Lucca's own admission, they'd be lucky to get four shots out of them before they went haywire. Still, it was something.
"All right...of there's nothing else, we'll proceed to the ship."
