A squadron of Zealian timeships made for the dropships, having detected them but not Shade's fighters. "Prepare to fire on the invasion force in 5... 4... 3..." The leader of the squadron counted down as the ships finished powering up a large set of Gate Bombs which would easily destroy the drop ships.

Meanwhile, a very large Zeal warship titled Guild's Glory immediately experienced chaos on the bridge. "CAPTAIN! Sensors report the capital is under attack! What are we going to do!?" The captain was trying to maintain a posture of calm omniscience, but even she couldn't hide her surprise. She regained her senses quickly however, and began barking out orders. "Order all Zeal warships and squadrons within 3 hours of sub-Continuum travel to go back to capital. Ready all weapons and defense systems. How long will it be till we reach the capital at sub-Continuum travel?" One of the officers checked his panel and looked back at her. "30 minutes. Should I engage the drives ma'am?"

The captain nodded and sat back in her seat, wondering what the galaxy was coming to. Immediately, a white sphere opened up in front of the ship, and it shot into it, entering the sub-Continuum.

A small guage told him that all primary power systems were at full 100% power, and that all weapons systems were at 99.99999% effciency. The 10-minute batteries on each of his lasers were fully charged, and there was plenty of energy to recharge these batteries. Alex smiled. He was all ready. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
