A gold dragon appears from between, and a moment later an observer from the ground would see a patch of gold break off from the larger shape and a golden firelizard, formerly concealed by the dragon's identical coloration, dive towards the nest. Circling it, she chirps wildly. This is the nest she'd spotted on a brief fly-by earlier, and knowing her Impressed wanted eggs, she'd taken it upon herself to lead Talla and Mylanith to it.

/Thank you, Stanza,/ Talla tells the firelizard as she leaps off her dragon's back, bending low over the nest. Now, what should I pick? she wonders. I have a gold, I don't need to be greedy.... Setting down the pot she'd picked up when Stanza appeared spouting images of a clutch on the beach, she pauses to scoop warm sand into it before carefully picking up two eggs - one medium, one small. The two largest and smallest, she'll leave for others. Carefully putting a cap on the pot, the goldrider cradles it against her chest as she clambers one-handed back onto Mylanith's neck and straps herself in. Stanza lands neatly on her much larger counterpart and clings to the harness straps, preparing for departure.

I really don't know what you see in those things, Mylanith grumbles good-naturedly. She doesn't really mind; if she did, Talla wouldn't have come for them. Talla rarely does anything against her dragon's wishes, especially something so minor. But though she'll never admit it, the vain dragon is rather keen on firelizards, because they can help scrub her hide to what she considers a proper state of cleanliness. Spreading her wings, she leaps into the air and once again vanishes between.
