Subject: You like torturing me, don't you? ;) Just kidding. As for Craftspeople Impressing, generally they put their skills to good use in the Weyr, yes, though they don't have to. And the Road will be on every Hold and Hall and Weyr. (yes, even Weyrs, dragonriders do walk, and can overfly the Road at times) Flights? >>

Queens and greens must be mature adults before they can fly - check the age guide page to see how you can figure the age of a dragon. When they do, they will be notified by either Raia, Igen, Benden, or Southern that they'll rise soon. Then, it's up to them to decide just *when* they want their dragon to rise, and they'll post the first message. (Usually that's when the rider arrives, the dragon bloods a few kills, the usual struggle for control during blooding, and then the dragon wings into the air.) Then, a few male dragons will arrive, and their riders will keep them from flying after the femme. Then, someone in charge will bugle - be it Quereth, Kylith, or any dragon of Igen, Benden, or Southern's characters. (These referring to the Weyrwomen of said Weyrs, not any dragon from those Weyrs.) Once the signal has been given, the male dragons may give chase. They will post messages in which they attempt to catch up to the female, usually showing off doing so. The queen/green will usually dodge several times, showing off her superiority and flaunting her skill. After several rounds of posting by the group (the female can make the flight as long or short as she wishes, though too long and you'll exhaust the riders, not to mention the dragons, and too short for queens will have a crappy clutch), the female will choose whom she likes best, through writing skills and moves, and say that he catches her.

And that's your typical flight. It's fun. *G*
