Subject: Gotta Be Quick!

A male Vae, roughly four feet long, with an impressive wing-span of fifteen feet, at least, drops languidly, hovering arrogantly around the lowest branches of the tree. He seems almost drab, his body a muted mixture of deep brown and rusty swirls, until his underwings and belly are revealed, they are a rich hue of ruby, though in the shadows they turn garnet and jet, with a delicate tracing of silver winding it's way in elegant relief from the vibrant red, it meanders all over his body, forming a loop around his muzzle. His eyes are a faded blue-gray, betraying his curiousity and hopefulness that someone would come to offer him a perch.
