The green sighs loudly. ~Poor R'ven. Here, let me do the introductions.~ She slips off the bench and bows to Shrineth. ~Hello, Shrineth. I'm Massath. This rather incoherent human here is my rider R'ven, and his firelizard is Vey. R'ven is mute, and cannot speak the way other humans do. Would you mind telling your rider that? It seems to cause R'ven great distress when people expect him to do what he cannot.~ She looks fondly at her lifemate. ~Anything you'd like me to add, R'ven?~

The boy slowly relaxes. -No, just... uh... ask Shrineth to convey my greetings to Wessae. You seem to have this well in hand.-

~Of course.~ Turning back to Shrineth, she adds, ~R'ven asks if you could tell your rider he says hello.~

((OOC: R'ven's a little panicked right now, with a queen rider talking to him.... When he calms down a bit, he can function fairly well with writing and hand signals.))
