"I've never been caught yet," T'yin replies wryly, "though I've not had much practice." He nods towards the pie stain. "Don't worry about it, every weyrling is equipped with a wardrobe full of clothes. And it can be scrubbed out, I think." He chuckles at Daer, who is now preening his bronze wings. With a small grin, the greenrider seems to withdraw slightly. Thin brows furrow as he waits for one of the Weyrleaders to say something, before all the weyrlings head out. "Oh, and A'rak. I talked to D'tir before the feast; he says I'm allowed to help train you and your peers, since he's so busy." He looks faintly pleased, though Viouth grumbles.

I wish you wouldn't've done that, she says to T'yin in an annoyed voice. I'm the one who'll be teaching them drills, you know. No doubt Kuvoth is 'too big' or some such nonsense. The rider stifles a grin at his green's complaints.
