The society was affected when the hunter-gatherers transformed and the Neolithic Age began. They began to form larger villages and more advanced homes. These houses had a hole in the roof for entering which kept animals out. They were made from sun-dried brick that was tightly packed. They also started farming and growing gardens. They used sharp flint tools to skin and cut, they made sandals from the leather, and they wove garments. Some of the villagers created works of art like clay and stone figures. Murals with hunting scenes have been found on the walls of some of these buildings. People believe that these buildings were where they practiced religion rites. The people didn��t live very long and died around their twenties. When someone died, they would be wrapped carefully, and buried in their houses where they remained through the centuries.
