Subject: Oh man.
In reply to: Isabel & Ina 's message, "Nooooooooo *wails*" on 00:50:40 04/22/05 Fri

The hope evident in Jari's dark eyes suddenly flickers and wanes as she watches two girls get mauled by a determined hatchling. "Shards!" she swears under her breath, soft and stunned. "I'd heard they could be single-minded in their search, but such violence was done away when Candidates were taught to dodge if the dragonet wasn't headed straight for them!" A little anger creeps into her voice, though undirected--the accident, in her mind at least, is no one's fault. Then, seeing a similar hair color stark against the golden sands, Jari's eyes widen slightly, and before she knows it she's running after Ina as the redhead races towards her fallen sister. "Shards," the hunter hisses, or maybe only thinks, as she half-skids to a stop nearby and hovers at the edge of the small group. Being on her own for so long on the southern continent, she knew rudimentary first-aid, but seeing the shoulder knots on the Journeywoman Healer, she knew she wasn't needed--except as, perhaps, support.

The lean girl crouches next to Ina, laying one strong hand on her friend's shoulder and applying some pressure in a reassuring gesture. "She'll be okay, Ina," she whispers, eyeing Isabel's injuries. "They aren't fatal."
