Subject: Never made it as a wise man...

I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealing...

The third pair from the clutch--the first hatched blue and the arrogant young boy--arrived at the Bowl. D'raco had his hand on the strong, soft blue shoulder, and both blue and boy strode through arrogantly, daring anyone to say they didn't belong.

Of course, anyone that knew D'raco as Daraco would be surprised; he was never seen in the Weyr, or, at least not unless he was hidden under the long, black cloak. However, the boy was different now; he was proudly walking, white fabrics loosley hung on his slight form, and his platnum-blonde hair and pale skin was easily seen by anyonle looking by. People might think this young, crystal-eyed youth had just arrived in time for the hatching. Not many would associate him now with the youngster that had been hiding under a cloak for a few months now.

D'raco?

'Yes, Neith?'

Where do I eat?

'Right here.'

Of course.

D'raco walked over to where the buckets of meats were waiting. he deftly picke dout one with a blue strip, and set it before Neith. The blue carefully started to eat, making sure not to make himself too messy.

Tired of living like a blind man...

"You like it?" D'raco asked, his voice emotionless liek always. Ah, so it was the young stand-offish lad.

Mmmmm... A feeling of satisfaction reached D'raco. he smiled.

After a moment, the blue finished, licking with his forked tongue at the blood that had stained his sapphire snout.

"Would you fancy a bath, Neith?"

Naturally.

Together, the two left for the Perches...

D'raco's new life had started.

I'm sick of sight without a sense of feeling...
