Chuth circles over the Bowl, both eyeing the wherries speculatively. The bronze has a pair of firelizards, brown and blue, hovering over his head and chirping in excitement; Chuth does his best to ignore them both. He's been ordered to feed well, which makes him happy, and to feed them, which doesn't. The dragon doesn't dislike firelizards, but he's not particularly interested in them, and he'd rather have his rider deal with them when he can. Picking out a wherry, he dives, crushing it into the ground and carefully snapping its spinal cord upon impact. He eats messily, leaving the carcass for the enthusiastic firelizards to pick clean, and takes more time and care with the next because there's no way they can clean off two sets of bones on their own; sure enough, as he's rising a third time, he sees them, slow and belly-full, fluttering away towards T'gan's weyr. After his fourth beast, Chuth follows them, winging home with the promise of a bath and an oiling in the morning.
