Tsuga sighed expressively as a voice - not 'Tia's - came thundering into her thoughts. Just as she was about to give her beloved dragon the signal to turn and return to the Perches, the queen pivoted smartly and set off, huge wings propelling her forward with powerful strokes.

[We could have just gone between you know.]

{I know, but I want to stretch my wings a bit more.}

Tsuga chuckled, the sound ripped from her throat by the wind of their passing, and shook her head as Alestiath quickly drew them closer to the designated location. The gold dragon spiraled downward tightly, coming in to a perfect landing, backwinging a few feet above the ground to slow her momentum before dropping the final distance with a slight bump. Tsuga removed her helmet and goggles and grinned at Wessae.

"You called, Queenrider?"

Alestiath bowed her neck slightly in aknowledgment of the other dragon's superior rank, though her eyes whirled briefly with such a mix of colors that it was almost impossible to read anything beyond the slight tinge of jealousy at the other queen's presence around 'Tia's bronzes. (Okay, so they weren't hers, but that didn't seem to matter to the younger queen in the least.) Tsuga had noticed that the dragon had been more tempermental lately, but that may have just been because everyone had been working with firestone lately, and she hadn't been doing much. She'd been getting more hungry, too, but she'd also been growing quite a bit faster lately, so maybe that didn't mean anything. Or . . . maybe it did?
