The instant H'rrison steps into the cave, Yima spins to face him, tensing automatically to attack. She's not expecting this visitor, and the children are in no shape to defend themselves. Yimask's head jerks around, and she openly growls at the stranger. Neither of them recognize him. But the second word out of his mouth is her name, and Yimask makes an odd brr noise in the bottom of her throat, one Yima is learning to recognize as "dragon". She either smells this man's dragon or sees it through the wall. Not that being a dragonrider automatically means he's safe... but it makes him a less likely threat, at any rate. And it explains why he knows her name. Straightening, but not dropping the knife (which had been in her hand anyway), Yima gives him a suspicious look before finally replying. "Yes, they just cracked their shells," she acknowledges, glancing back long enough to give them a look that the highly imaginative might try to describe as "fond". And then he mentions his dragon's name, and his identity clicks. Fordth. H'rrison. Wasn't he one of the dragonriders that went crazy trying to get 'ask and me comfortable after we were fished out of the ocean? A bit more tension goes out of the wiry body. She's not going to trust him, exactly, but she'll feel safe enough turning her back on him for a moment with Yimask to stand guard. The queen's flight is news to her, but not particularly exciting news; she wonders for a second why H'rrison had told her, then realizes that to him, it's worth the enthusiasm. Not that she's going to bother try to match it out of courtesy's sake, or anything like that. Instead, she ignores the comment, moving on to something more relevant to herself. "Since you're here, H'rrison, I'd like you to help us out. We're going to need more blood porridge very shortly - hot oat porridge, mixed with plenty of blood - and it would be nice if we actually got it ahead of time, and without stealing breakfast from the Headwoman's kitchens." She feels no remorse over that, or the fact that it's S'kar and her brother suffering for that move. She'd asked Raskith for what was needed, and it had been their job to provide it for her from there. "And the children are going to need furs and bedding, and food for themselves, and probably clothing. Make yourself useful, and bring that." It's a full, unapologetic command. This isn't a show for the dragonriders. Turning away from him for a moment, trusting Yimask to keep a wary, bulging eye on the young bronzerider, Yima eyes the children. "They'll be waking up again soon," she announces, "and before you feed them, we're going to have to make the bloodbonds. You'll cut your thumb, and let the watchwher suck your blood from it; just don't allow them to drain you dry. Here's the knife, and I expect you to do it yourselves." Her voice is uncompromising as she sets the knife down on the flat rock nearby. "I'm assuming you'll take the watchwher you've been dealing with up until now, and if you want to argue, you'd better have a very good reason as to why you think it should be changed." Crossing her arms over her chest, she turns back to H'rrison and raises an eyebrow, as if asking why he hasn't taken off to do her bidding already.
