Author: Ash, Deceith
Subject: Trust me…

There’s no need to fear…

Now, here outside the Weyr, was a very different sight. While normally Ash walked confidently, with a swing to her hips and a smile upon her face, tossing her hair vainly and beautifully, all this dignity was abandoned. Now, Ash was doing something she hadn’t done in over thirteen turns. She cried.

Not only was Ash crying, she was weeping. A few tears she could’ve managed, but this was definetly not the case. This time, tears were pouring down like rivers. She’d run from K’mir’s weyr when she realized he didn’t care she was crying, though she didn’t know why she wanted him to. Now, her entire body shook as she tried to walk, and finally collapsed in the dirt, on her knees, hands on the ground to support her weight.

A brown dragon followed her, but had no idea what to do. Ash had never behaved like this, and it was weird. He just sat down, eyes whirling, wishing he knew what to do.

Everyone’s here…

Tears leaked from her face and went into the dirt and grass, making a little muddy patch. Tears had already stained through most of her shirt and the shoulder-knots to designated her as the only female brownrider. Now, her skirt were covered in dirt and grass-stains from collapsing on the ground, and she stayed there. Why she was upset she didn’t know, and didn’t care. She just needed to regain her composure before simply going back and explaining to K’mir that she had to go get something. Part of Ash, however, was still her cruel-minded self, and had a thought.

Maybe if someone meets me like this, I can trick them into being an ally.

K’mir had a lot of enemies… mabye, just maybe, she could convince someone that he was the reason she was crying, and that she felt bound to him? Her mind came up with all sorts of different ideas, but only half-way. Her crying wouldn’t stop, and she just couldn’t find the will to calm down.

Waiting for you to finally be one of us…

((Heh. Hey, Pup, maybe Maria should meet her, and Ash could pull the story she mentioned? Or you could have Cometer come? Heh. Just a suggestion. But, seriously, SOMEBODY PLEASE REPLY!))
