Author: Chiewae + Solo
Subject: *hums* Welcome to the jungle...

Solo is far to occupied with the new land around them to even remember Roventh Is there. Chiewae, however, is for once more alert than his runnerbeast, and notices instantly the moment the brown starts descending. What was he going to do? Would he try and land on the dock? Even though he was not particularly experienced in neither wooden docks nor dragons, he could tell just be looking that landing in such a small space would be difficult. Not to mention the fact that judging by the brown's size, the dock might not be strong enough to support his weight. He couldn't help but wince when the wood creaked, but let out a small sigh of relief when nothing broke. Phew. The last thing he wanted to see was a dragon falling into the water. Oh he knew Roventh could swim. He'd been in the water with him. But the idea of falling into water was still stuck as a Bad Thing in his mind, regardless of whether those who fell could swim or not. Dark brown eyes continue to watch the dragon when he lifts off, unable to stop an awed expression from crossing his face as he watches Roventh disappear between. He'd never seen a dragon do that before, only hearing stories of it from the Harpers. He'd heard it was dangerous, and that dragons could get lost in there if their riders didn't have a clear picture of where they were going. The thought was rather frightening. He had a feeling Roventh was rather experienced in this "going between, but that still didn't make him any less worried.

Brought back to reality when N'ris speaks to him, Chiewae turns to look in the direction the man was pointing. A jungle? Well, it wasn't the most welcoming of sights, but whatever. N'ris hopefully wouldn't get them lost. Turning to look for his runnerbeast, he finds Solo standing directly behind him, looking at him expectantly. And who was he to refuse a ride? Grabbing a handful of mane, he leaps nimbly up onto the runner's back, with the same ease that N'ris handles his fishing boat. Both come with experience. Chi and Solo have been together for quite some time, much like the brownrider and his boat. However, they were out of the man's element and into the boy's. True, he wasn't familiar with the land here, but it was terrain, and it was what he and his runnerbeast were made best for. Solid footing. No waves. No deep water. Just plain old land. Solo snorted when his rider landed, before setting off after the man, moving to walk beside him. There was no way he would follow this man. He would walk right beside him. Sitting easily to the four beat pace that Solo had set, Chiewae turns to look at N'ris. "So...what's it like going between?"
