Subject: As if he's any better...
In reply to: K'vren & Notusith, Pell, Nero, Osko, Meki 's message, "If that thing breaks, it's not your dreams that'll be crushed." on 19:54:05 08/27/05 Sat

((I'm really sorry I've been taking so long to reply. >_< It must be lazy summer mode...bleh.))

The last few seconds are a blur to Riddan. He finds himself still gripping the same green vine, now draped over a much thinner tree branch. His green eyes widen considerably as he looks down toward the forest floor. At least before there had been something - namely the gigantic tree trunk - on one side of him, instead of just air. The vine was swinging back and forth gently, and slipping towards the bluerider's side. "Fraggit, now we're in trouble..." The teen said under his breath, before K'vren's words reach him. Climb it? He could manage that. He had been climbing it before, after all.

Carefully, slowly, the boy starts to inch upwards. When the rope-like vine doesn't snap, he starts to gain confidence and pick up the pace, reminding himself (but making no promises) not to hurt the dragonrider's fingers. His thoughts are more focused on reaching the branch above, and when he does, a wave of relief sweeps through him. He sits on the top of the branch, firmly placing a hand on the vine to keep it steady for K'vren. A small, cocky smile etches itself on to his face, and he looks down at the dragonrider. "So, genius, was this part of your master plan?"
