I guess your mother must have done your nappy changing until then - how come she employed a nanny when you were four? And was it your nanny who decided you should stay in nappies as you got older? Was that because you still wet your nappy? Or just as a punishment? You said your nanny was very strict - what kind of punishments did she administer, if it's not too embarrassing to recall? And did your nanny dress you as a boy or a girl? When I was suffering 'nappy punishment' my mother often out me into a dress or skirt. She said it was because it made nappy changes easier, but I'm sure it was so that my nappies and baby knickers were more visible, so the punishment was even more humiliating.
