But a household isn't a car, and a human partnership isn't the same as two oxen. Metaphors don't work in this situation. People are too varied for a vast generalization on the most effective way for people to partner to work. Some women need a man who will take charge and let them focus on following or serving. Some women need a man who will let them lead. Many women need a man whose strengths balance out her own, and who can lead and follow in different situations. (And some women need other women or to have only friends rather than romantic partners.) I would never tolerate a man who thought he had the right to discipline me, though neither would I put up with a man who needed external discipline of his own. I strive for self-actualization and am always working to better myself in every situation. Any person who has the time or energy to focus on attempting to improve MY behavior isn't spending enough time focusing on improving their own, they would slow me down. And I could never like, let alone love, someone arrogant enough to believe they knew how I should be living better than I do. Not all of the women and girls posting here are bottoms and even amongst those that are, I think few appreciate generalized misogyny. You can want a lifestyle domestic discipline relationship with a submissive woman, you can even have a fetish for your wife "needing" to be disciplined "because she's a woman", without making it "men have a right to discipline their women".
