When I was a kid and even a teen I wasn't grounded very often, I didn't get in much trouble, but when I did get grounded or had something taken away I HATED it worse than anything and it made me behave even worse. And just as soon as I got out of grounding I was determined to get back at them and be a terror to my parents and humanity. I pleaded with God or whoever was listening that my parents would just spank me and get it over with. The WORST thing was the guilt. Even as the guilt accumulated and no way to relieve it I acted worse and was more determined than ever to show how bad I really was.
