I was not implying I was perfect, merely that I am driven mainly by intrinsic motivation and internal factors without need for external discipline. I have put several years of active effort into self-improvement and learning to regulate myself. You, on the other hand, have not dedicated years to actively improving yourself. You have expressed the need and desire for external structure to change your behavior. You display immaturity. Few people are as driven by self-actualization as I am. Many people require external factors, whether rewards or punishment, to motivate them. That doesn't say anything bad about you.
