I wonder if some spanking videos have the spanker somewhat pulling punches. It looks real, but, let's face it, in movies and TV, actors get into fist fights that would result in broken bones and horrible bruising in real life and are none the worse for wear.

I mean, in some spanking videos with a cane or something like that, you can see the marks, but in others, the victim just gets up and rubs the butt and says, "Ow that hurt!" in the same tone of voice you might ask someone if they'd like a soda.

I was hit with a switch and once with a belt as a kid and I know that I screamed and danced around and had marks on my butt and legs where I was hit.
