So as it turned out, the parents of the kid I babysat called me. They said they got my message so they talked it over and as they did have an offer from friends they asked the kid if she'd be cool with that and she was all excited.
It was a little cold, but we went to a park for a little while and had some fun until we were freezing. Then we went to the store and got a whole lot of stuff for a party (approved by parents). We ate bad stuff, drank pop and fake champaign, popcorn, chips, played games, watched videos, talked girl talk, Oh she is a talker, so adorably cute. We made a huge mess and had the funnest time.
It was so funny. She tried so hard to make it to midnight. Her eyes would close then she open them real quick and start jabbering, she sounded like she was drunk, it was so amusing. And finally she just plopped in my lap and was out like a light. Somehow I manuevered my way out without disturbing her and covered her with blankets. I sat in the comfy chair under a blanket and well, I didn't make it to midnight either.
The parents were so nice when they got home, not too late, maybe 12:30 and they offered me the spare room so I spent the night there. They offered me breakfast this morning but I said "No, that's okay. Thanks." and the kid gave me the biggest hug when I left. They were so nice and I wont tell that me and the kid were pretty naughty, lol.
So that was my NYE. It was actually a lot better than hanging around home or having fake fun drinking with fake friends.
