I've never been spanked with a strap so I don't have any way to understand the pain. I have also never been spanked completely naked so I am sure that is even more embarrassing than just having your panties pulled down which is embarrassing enough in front of your dad. I guess the fact that besides the occasional stop what your doing swat when I was really young. I have never been spanked for real over clothes. Not even when my aunts or uncles spanked. (At the time those were super embarrassing but now I look back and well it's different now.) So having in bare is probably easier to take, if you know that is the way it's always been.
