PJ had a sister who was an athlete and who broke something in her leg. I remember her getting spanked for some misbehavior that she thought her broken item and its cast would excuse. Her mother explained that there was no problem, she was going to spank her bottom, not her cast or any of the injured parts. Mom may never have broken anything. Another funny Taylor story involves someone who was looking for an effective spanking paddle and Taylor volunteered her family's spanking paddle, saying roughly "You are welcome to ours. It never breaks and it works really well!" Her older brother had really bad luck and lost his fight to save "lefty" and now has to be really careful not to lose his other healthy kidney. The body can function fine on the remaining one but he should treat it well. I think you are right. She disobeyed a direct request via a sibling to come immediately to her mom.
