My mom would make sort of veiled threats implying that if I didn't behave I'd get a spanking. I was pretty sure that she never would, but even as late as this summer I was always afraid she might. When I was little I was kind of like "Well, why don't you." When I was like between 11 and 15 I was REALLY hoping she would, but after that I pretty much knew it would never happen, but I felt like there was always a possibility. By that time I was like "Uh...no."

Even if you're certain now it's not going to happen anymore. Are you still curious about it? Is it still something you'd like to know what it is like? Or have these feelings largely passed, and you're just content with the arrangement you have with Shelby?

Personally, now reading all the stuff on these forums makes me extremely curious what it is like to experience discipline from a parent. I was never curious when growing up.
