I seem to get censored a lot on this forum. This time it was about "The Story of Ping" children's book. What did I do bad ?

Maybe I should start posting about poopy underwear and other more tasteful subjects.

It was removed by the board moderator??? Why????

I think maybe I was wrong and there is not really a place for me on this board, if these types of aspects of spanking are off limits.

I saw that post yesterday and frankly it was a little cringe worthy revolving around young children and churches etc. It might be better suited for one of the other Voy groups that cater more to that. From reading I gather that this group focuses more on adult women spanking.
I haven't had anything removed on here, but I have many times on Facebook and I just basically accept it and move on. That's just me.

If your kink is children. I tried to be diplomatic and explain a possible reason. I think I would rather read about adults with poop stained panties than I would churches encouraging parents to beat children. Is that blunt enough for you?

The treatment of choice for coprophagia is aversive behavioral intervention. Key words: Borderline personality disorder; Childhood abuse; Emotional neglect.

The moral of the story is complex. Ping is almost part of a Peking Duck feast. But it is unclear how Ping's spank is linked to his not accepting his spank originally BECAUSE he is only punished for being LAST in the line again! He isn't spanked for not accepting his earlier single spank for being LAST. He seems only to get the one lick for being LAST again.

Perhaps that complexity is what makes it real children's literature. It remains one of the top one hundred children literature books by national librarians, even though it deals with spanking, which is almost universally condemned by progressives, which that group tends to be. It was one of my favorites in our home children's library, and continues to be popular with kids today.

Good suggestion about how its popularity might derive from it being a bit more complicated than a simple Duckling Ping disobeys, is almost eaten for dinner, is spanked, and lives happily ever after. Some of the complexities are:

1. Every night someone gets the long switch on their tale feathers.
2. Ping is genuinely afraid of the switch and decides to avoid it. Most kids, even non-spanked kids, know what switches feel like from bushwhacking or other walking in the woods or from direct applications. They sting like the Dickens and leave red stripes where they land.
3. Adults plan to eat Ping but Ping is rescued/released by a child on board the Chinese Junk (= a kind of ship)
4. Magically Ping's parents' ship appears just in the nick of time for Ping to rejoin.
5. Ping only gets one switch spank for being late AGAIN. No spanks for swimming away and almost being eaten.

Hi Mr. Alfred: You make it sound so grim 😊 I have a renewed appreciation of the book since reading Amy Carpenter's interpretation in the article linked in the original post (I don't want to link it here, for fear I may step on toes, but is easily discoverable). Ms. Carpenter always "loathed" the book, but now feels it is one of "the most beautiful allegories of repentance she has encountered."

I ordered a hard copy today for my library at work. I think it very appropriate for the munchkins.
