I came here to see if I could connect Ivy (who is Jewish) with my daughter Taylor (who is mainstream Catholic). Ivy had previously posted here in an effort to locate Taylor. They had both been in a "Spank With Love" forum fifteen years ago as tweens/young teenagers. No one was kicked out of it, the forum inevitably imploded as has been discussed. I don't know Destiny, except the "Ping" post (the excellent blog post she linked was written by a member of LDS) I did not think I would have anything to add here, until I spotted your thread "The Sound of Justice." I thought it interesting and insightful.If it got off track it is because there was an effort to answer another person's questions. I have never been a member of any group or religion which advocates the beating and abuse of children. Spanking-- yes (Pope Francis has given his approval); beating -- no. I make no judgment about adult women who enjoy having their behinds slapped by other women. I only thought I might be able to elaborate on your thoughts on the motivation. The esteemed page owner once deleted something Ivy had said in giving simple straightforward advice to a young lady. That was a completely needed deletion and had some mild antisemitic overtones. But she CAME BACK and stood her ground and honestly is now my favorite contributor here. I hope you do the same.
