You say "pro-spanking" research is done with bias". I have news for you Maddie. All research is done with bias. It generally starts with an opinion. Then the person or group doing the research gathers as much data as they can to "prove" their opinion is fact. That data will mainly include reading the opinions of others who share their view. Then the actual research, a general question is put forth then a target or control group is selected. People from that group are then surveyed. When the researcher gathers that information it is often studied with bias. The main part of what is included are the responses that prove the opinion of the researcher most other data is dismissed. The claim that "spanking causes anti-social behavior." The people who are surveyed are often people who have experienced backlash from their own experiences. Such as domestic violence, assault, and even murder. Also people who have experienced such conditions ad bi-polar disorder, depression and so forth. They are asked questions about their childhood environment leaning heavily on corporal punishment. Other contributing factors are often downplayed if not dismissed outright. I could go on, but suffice it to say, there is no such thing as an 'unbiased study".

Also, many so-called "Researchers" don't actually conduct studies of their own. They simply parrot the "results" of studies conducted by others. Mostly those who agree with their own personal bias.
