I never thought of it as double jeopardy I saw as dad backing up the school I got 12 with the belt at bedtime lying on my bed panties down nightgown flipped up I cried not out loud just a lot of tears on my face . The boy I had a crush on caught the winning pass he is now my husband. I am now a mom and grandmother . 30 with the belt sounds too harsh and being done by other kids sounds potentially dangerous I hope an adult supervised the belt line . My dad and the assistant principal were in complete control with the swats hard and on the intended target . My school padding was witnessed by a school counselor

In defense of the beltline or gauntlet runs, they were safe enough. Belts were canvas if part of the uniform and folded in half regardless. Leaders often wore regular belts but members were expected to wear the full uniform and most did.

One got the first or Start lick and sprang into action and dashed down the line. I remember most of us hopping after we finished. Going up didn't really soothe the fire in your bottom but it was at least "doing something" in addition to rubbing! Of course, nothing really helps as I am sure you know all too well.

Your 2 + 12 was a really good dose. I bet if you rolled over onto your back that night, you rolled right back over onto your tummy!

Congratulations on your husband's game winning pass and just think perhaps it wouldn't have all worked out if you hadn't had the detour via The Office.

I did sleep on my belly I slept great and the next day was fine my dad used the first 10 swats to put a real sting the last two were the hardest . I have three younger sisters . My parents used a small oval paddle for most spankings it stung enough to learn . We got the belt for things like school trouble curfew violations. if daddy saw bruises on me from the school paddle he would call the cops my daddy is a lawyer and he knew cops and the prosecutors being a defense attorney . Sonya’s principal had no business around kids it mad me mad
