I'll put it this way, I'm sure she didn't have a fun drive home the next day.
Last night I was surprised that the doorbell rang and she was at the door looking mournful. She confessed that she was disrespectful to her mother and aunt and was in general uncooperative. We had a long talk and it seemed that the guilt was eating her up. I asked her how this should be dealt with. She said she felt she should be punished. I asked her how and she replied a spanking.
I did give her a spanking on her bare bottom. I knew she was remorseful as she started crying almost immediately and I wasn't spanking her as hard as usual. And yes, like the turkey I roasted her little bottom and sent her to the corner for about ten minutes. I know this sounds a little deviant, but I quite enjoyed watching her little fiery red bottom in the corner. We hugged and cuddled deeply. She asked if we could do something "momlike". I needed to make cookies for the seniors home I volunteer at and I believe she had a lot of fun helping me.
This doesn't change the fact that she has an appointment with me on Tuesday. I do however see much improvement and the fact that she was eaten up with guilt and came forward tells me a lot.
