I’ve been spanked in my bedroom but mostly in my father’s office.

Our Christian church has a spanking room. It is equipped with a small couch, a table and two paddles hanging on the wall. All 5 of my kids have visited that room a few times, even my teenage sons and daughters. Last ones to go there was my 16- and 12-year-old daughter's for playing a hand game and not paying attention.

Does your church offer a Youth Group? I suggest that you try to get your 12 year old and her 16 year old sister interested in joining any youth-oriented programs provided.

I loved sleepaway camp and other kinds of church-sponsored retreats. Sermons can be challenging when they are hard to understand and the frustration that incomprehension gives rise to is difficult for teens to handle, especially if any obvious evidence of it must be suppressed on pain of a paddling downstairs.
