My mother adopted this concept after talking to some neighbors who used it on their kids and she thought it would work well on us. My friend whose mother used this method was able to more or less speed things up. Parents always had the option of coming to school to punish their child in person. She had her mother come to school and her paddling did not stop at 8 swats and it was on a bare bottom. She did not get spanked at home but that probably would have been the better option. Who actually applied the spanking paddle to her bare bottom? Presumably her Mom but I wasn't cure. At least she didn't have to wait very long! Cold comfort, as it were. That was done by the gym coaches when you were wearing your gym outfit which included some nylon shorts that offered no protection to begin with. Her mother did the paddling and rather than 8 swats she got 16 swats on the bare butt. One for each year of age. Something that I would not like to experience. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
