Hi,
Wow, what a name, can I ask what that stands for? I know exactly where my dad's "instrument of correction" is kept. I hear what you are saying. Can I ask just what that "instrument" was?

Everyone asks me about my screen-name🙂…among other things, I’ve been known to dabble in concert production, and “dimmerdork” is a good-natured put-down that soundguys sometimes use referring to lighting techs…”geljock” is another…

The usual “instrument of correction” generally used was a Lexan paddle…or, as she referred to it, “that horrible, evil, awful thing!!!”

I see. I have read some posts about thos kind of paddles. They are supposed to really burn but leave no damage correct? My dad's leather strap is also " a horrible, evil, terrible, awful thing"!!!!!!!
