Then she told Jan if it were up to her she'd be getting the strap. Going against what you'd said. If I'd been going against Mork in front of Jan I'd have been the one looking at leather! Especially as we'd agreed before on what the result of honesty would be. Why Ann had to be so upset she contradicted you in front of Jan I can't imagine. I'd bet you it won't be long until her tummy and your table are connecting. Be another issue of course, but the lady just has to be slipping into dangerous territory. All in all I'd say you did well. I don't object, it's your money, but I am puzzled why you'd need a second strap. It's not as if the first is likely to get lost. Perhaps it's just the pleasure of having two? When we discussed the matter downstairs before I went up to Jan Ann made it pretty clear that she would support my idea but still felt Jan needed discipline. I can't say I totally disagree with that but nevertheless, I had already made up my mind as to how I was going to deal with this. After all, it was I that discovered Jan's post, not Ann. Funny you mention what would have happened with Mork. I was actually close to inviting Ann to take a trip across the hall with me but didn't. Truth be told, Ann is stricter with our daughter than I am. I have been accused in the past for letting Jan slide when she should be punished. The thing is, Ann isn't the one who has to apply the leather to a bawling, begging, pleading 16-year-olds tender bare buttocks, I am. It's not pleasant. Maybe it is just the pleasure of having two. BTW Jan was a little nervous watching her strap being oiled. I thought that would be a nice reminder that she should feel blessed this time but next time, if there is, I will not be so generous. While it's bad enough to be witness to a strapping, lending support, it's not at all the same as delivering what Gilbert and Sullivan might well have called a short, sharp shock. I have a feeling it may not be too long before you and Ann have a conversation with both of you agreeing it is time she went with you to your study for the strap. Won't be pleasant for either of you but I sense tensions needing dealing with. No doubt, afterwards, the "aftercare" release for both of you will be welcome and the strap session will pay happy dividends for months to come. BTW, on Ann being the tougher parent when it comes to thinking Jan should be disciplined, I talked once with a family where when the daughter, or son in that case, had to be spanked, later, at an appropriate time, the mother was spanked. All on the theory that had she been on top of things the son/daughter wouldn't have needed to be spanked. The mother's spanking would vary from a few stinging smacks to a proper spanking depending on the dad's assessment as to how much responsibility she bore. I agree, big difference being there for support vs being the one administering the leather and watching those bare buttocks turn crimson. Not to mention the tears pouring down the teen's face as that leather continues to sear across her naked behind. In our case it might be me that needs the spanking not Ann. Ann probably is more on top of things with Jan than I. Ann would be the one to receive any school notifications. We are united on that front. School is a serious issue here as you well know from a few days ago. BTW those strap marks are sill visible, faint but visible.
