I told you last time I was on that there were new developments. I didn't want to let the cat out of the bag until I knew something more solid. I realize I've never mentioned the girl I mentor by name. So there is no confusion I'm going to call her Lisa. Lisa, by the way has been keeping me updated almost every night. She could be doing better, but it sounds like she's doing well over the Summer back at home.
Now to tell you about Shanna. She's a good girl. She has a good heart, but she's very mixed up, very irresponsible and she definitely needs guidance. She basically blew off her freshman year. I have been meeting with her since late last year, taking her to lunch, having long talks and like Lisa, I have her over to teach her the practical things in life. We have developed a great bond. In the month since school has let out, deciding not to go home for the Summer she has basically flopped around with whoever will let her spend the night, sometimes in her car and has been spending about three nights a week at my house. She has mentioned during our serious talks many times that perhaps she needs discipline. When pressed she has even, on several occasions mentioned spanking. We have been tossing around the idea of her staying here permanently on the condition that she turn herself around, follow house rules, do occasional chores, and attend to her schoolwork and get the grades I know she can get. She's a very smart cookie.
Last week as we were discussing the details and getting serious about her moving in I told her about the girl I mentor and that I spank her. Although she seemed surprised by that, it seemed like she already knew. I don't know if she knows Lisa and they have talked. I can't imagine that as they are very different and I don't see them hanging out together, much less telling each other their secrets. But kids these days, you never know. I made it very clear to Shanna that if she breaks any rules or doesn't get her homework in satisfactorily that I will spank her and not just a little spanking, but bare bottom until she wont be able to sit for a day or two. I could see fear, if that's the right word run through her body, but maybe also a little excitement. She has agreed to this. I didn't come to this decision alone. I did discuss it with Lisa and it gets her full approval. I didn't want any jealousy or undue embarrassment or any bad feelings. Two of my very close friends also know about my arrangement with Lisa and I discussed that with them meeting their approval as well. What I haven't told you is those two friends and I have gotten together a few times, had some wine and a little bit of girls night out spanking fun.
