As a girl, I always wanted to go second. I think it was mostly wanting to stall off the inevitable as long as possible. I also wanted to see how irritated Dad was and how hard he spanked my sister. If the spanking wasn't too bad, I was relieved. If it was really hard, it gave me a few minutes to try to prepare myself.

In retrospect, it was probably better to go first. Getting it over with ASAP is a big advantage. Not that it mattered; Dad made the call, so whether we went first or second was out of our control.

As for the spankings themselves, when it was our turn, we had to remove our clothing from the waist down and bend over the bed. Then Dad whipped our bare bottoms with a belt (and occasionally a razor strop when we were older).

I have sincere sympathy for you Miss Brenda. A bunch of implements are really "too much" for family use. The cane, carpet beater, a real tawse as opposed to homemade ones from belt halves, and almost all whips. Some severe implements can be beneficial in adult and clearly consensual relationships. My advice would be to be extremely careful and loving!
