Why or why not? Here is my answer and I hope to hear from others I think that they do but it’s certainly not an absolute. I think it has much to do with the reason for home schooling which relates back to the family’s values. In families that spank, girls who are home schooled will be spanked more often simply because they are around much more. For girls that attend school, the frequency of spankings in the summer time is invariably greater than during the school year. Another factor is that Mom controls the quality of instruction. If her daughter does not perform up to expectations, the girl cannot argue that the teacher was unclear or unfair. Mom may judge that the test or assignment was too hard or she may conclude that her daughter simply didn’t put in enough effort. If the latter then Mom will summon the girl to lay across her lap, lift skirt and slip and administer a spanking. Schoolwork related spankings are usually given over panties and with the hand; bare bottom or with implements is reserved for more serious issues. The girl is spanked hard enough to ensure real crying. At the end there will be about ten minutes of corner time and then it’s back to the lesson at hand. The only break a girl catches in these families is that if she’s spanked in school, she doesn’t get a second spanking at home. Unless Daddy feels that his reinforcement is needed. When multiple children of varying ages are being home schooled, the older girl(s) will be expected to work more independently. Mom will assign a series of questions or problems and inform the girl that she will check her work in an hour or so.
