Mindy, I love your questions about the table and about the spanking ritual elements. Having a regular procedure definitely makes things easier for everyone involved.

Jan, you refer to the decision for you to be spanked already having been made. Do you feel at all that the decision is up to you? Or that you "need" to be spanked? I am not asking did you do anything to "earn" it? Rather I am wondering if you have serious, all things considered, doubts as to the value of spankings for you.

I have this hunch that they are good for you and that you share this intuition and that this is why you cooperate. I also believe that when there is No Cooperation, Whatever, spankings are not a good idea and they are likely to be both ineffective and to drift toward abuse.

Hi Alfred,

I see you have read all about how I am spanked so you know exactly what happens. Yes my parents believe in a ritual and it is always the same so no surprises. Doesn't make it any easier but at least I know step by step how it's gonna go.

No the decision is not up to me but in all fairness, a spanking at this house is not performed unless I have specifically committed a spanking offense and at my age, the rules are pretty clear.

Do I feel I need it? Well, my parents clearly do and I love and respect my parents so yes, I will do as I'm instructed when it's spanking time. I guess to be honest, I would rather not be spanked but again, I respect my parents decision and I have never felt unfairly spanked. I have earned every one.

Yes, I do cooperate and I feel relieved after it's over. In this house once the spanking is over and I have calmed down it's over and the slate is clean. I do like that.
