I wasn't allowed anything but full cut cotton panties till I was 15. Once a girlfriend lent me a pair of nylon panties and by mistake, I wore them home. I proceeded to get in some minor trouble at home and was sentenced to a hand spanking.

Grew up wearing "bikini style" panties. Here I am in my early 30's and that's what I still wear. Never really liked hipsters. Boy shorts are OK, but overall still prefer the bikini briefs; prefer cotton but nylon are okay too. Not sure if that's what others are referring to as "little girls panties."
