Yes, as we got older we worried more about who was gonna get to see us spanked.

Like I said before, the pre-spanking "pleading" would be more desperate sometimes if spanked in front of certain people. I think about half my spankings were in private and most "witnessed" spankings were in front of my cousins/Aunts/Uncles - sometimes friends.
Those were VERY embarrassing but we got spankings in front of each other so often that it wasn't worth "begging" not to be spanked with them watching.

But like you said, as teens there was "worry" about being spanked in front of others. Like when my cousin Larry was 14 his mom spanked him in front of me, his sister, and his sister's friend, Tani.
We girls were all 13 and Tani was in some of Larry's classes at school, so when he realized his Mom was about to take his pants down in the living room in front of us - Larry lost it!
