Now for the good news!

Got an email form DU, who took the time to dig through his archives, and managed to reef out some stories that aren't in the Library, so we might get a few more regular monthly volumes. I'll have to dig a new Filler Pool, and I only just filled the old one in. So at least we won't see as much Listenman content, that'll be a refreshing change.

I'm not gonna give spoilers…okay I will…

New (old) stories from An4, Fletch, SlimV, and Karen Somers, plus several authors I've never seen before. Honestly, I'm going to be a bit sus of SlimV's work, I hope the stories are from before his writing got weird. And I hope none of them are too spicy.

So yeah, I'm a bit excited.

But I've got some bad news too, bad for me, not for you.

I'm going to have to migrate to a new machine, mainly because one of the apps I use on the regular for this stuff no longer seems to work for reasons unknown. And it's one I need. The PDF compression app.

I've kind of been holding off, because when I do migrate, there are a lot of apps on this machine that I use regularly, that won't work any more, and several have no contemporary equivalent.

I've had this rig for about 9 years, and it's served me well. I know people rip on the Trashcan MacPro, but I still think it's cool. 12 cores Yo!

Dunno when I'm going to do the deed, and I shouldn't be offline for long, probably a couple of days while I sort stuff out. Hopefully I won't have too many teething troubles with the 'modern' software. I'll keep you informed regardless. And hopefully it won't disrupt my workflow. I have a feeling it's going to p*ss me off.

Argh! (I haven't done anything, and I'm already annoyed)

Anyway, enjoy the reads, there are a few shorter stories in this volume, so most of you will probably blaze through it.

But, Volume 142 is a go for February. 143 in March will probably also be a goer, depending on the remaining filler and what new content I get.
