I understand the frustration and the need to vent about it. I suspect you are right that nobody will take the baton when you throw in the towel. Only then will we fully appreciate all that you did for the community. The recent issue on SFK is the latest reality check that everything is gonna disappear eventually.

It's all so depressing based on how vibrant this community was 25 years ago. But all things considered, in the aftermath of a quarter century of nearly uninterrupted defeats and a fetish community where there are effectively zero replacements for every old-timer who goes to the big smoking lounge in the sky, we're holding up better than one might have expected if we knew back in 2000 what 2025 was gonna be like. And it's because of people like yourself that we're still holding up to the degree that we are.
