Just did a head count.

21 stories in the filler pool. And a lot of it is from the TLS Writing Contest, so underage stuff, and some of what was in there will appear in NSC 144. I'm not happy about it, but, these were stories from 20 years ago, and as bad as they get, it is stuff from two decades ago.

Worst scenario, two more months of regular releases, but if people keep writing, and it's not utter garbage, we could stretch it to three, maybe. Then I'll be back to skipping months to release full volumes.

I've actually seen a lot of new stuff being written, but most of it is fvckfest trash, and not really smoking fetish fiction at all, so I'm not touching it. I do have standards. That said, if anyone sees stuff, and they don't deem it to be overly explicit, let me know where to find it, and I'll take a look.

I really want to pass the 2000 story mark, and if possible make it to Volume 150. After that, I dunno. I'll keep at it as long as people keep writing, but if that stops, I'll have to as well. The existing content is completely community-driven, but as a community, we're not doing so well these days.

There are very few good authors left that will take the time to write decent smoking fetish fiction, and that's the stuff I want to preserve.

I've spent the night tiding up the remaining stuff DU sent me, and I'm about half way through. It's probably a good thing I don't do alcohol.

The content is all Dark Age stuff, and I'm glad we've gotten past it, but I'm wondering if we ever did.

We have to do better.

I'm tired.
