I got a dog, his name is Mister. Great Dane puppy (and at 5 months, he's enormous). Its the first living thing I've ever had to be responsible for, aside from myself. I don't count Oscar the fish... that was simple.

He has a personality. We're already good friends. I think its healthy for me.

Of course, its cutting into work time, but I can afford that for a while. I take meetings and make choices and think about stuff about 90% of the time, rarely do I have to /do/ things in a conventional time/attention sense. Might take a vacation, so I have no worries on my time, for a bit.

He's done wonders for my mood. Happiness, it seems, is watching a puppy sleep and kick his paws while chasing cloudcars.

Thought about you, today. I mean, really, I think about you often (though less as the years go by... maybe once a week, these days, or every couple). Hope you're well. Happy. And as silly as it seems--not the content, but the source of the message I mean--you're a wonderful human being. One of the most special things ever put on Earth. I like to think you never forgot that.
