It was a warm day so he was not wearing a coat. Yes he was still in his short shorts, Very brief denim shorts. He seemed happy and healthy enough. Certainly he gets plenty of vitamin D with expanse of his exposed skin. I have seen him several times since, always in very brief shorts including once in school grey flannel shorts and another time in neat navy corduroy shorts.
