I first heard of Janie way back in 1979 or the early '80's when I starting to watch Cincinnati Reds baseball games on TV & listen to other ones on the radio. During commercial breaks on the radio, a man would announce the singer of at least one of their commercial jingles as being Janie Fricke. The next time I would hear her or see her was the appearance on David Letterman's "Late Night" show 40 years ago in Dec. 1983 that I've described in previous messages.

Finally, when I was an engineering student at Ohio State Univ. in the early '90's, I was checking out a women's swimwear magazine in a local bookstore, and I saw in it an outrageously cute girl who was probably the cutest swimwear or lingerie model I've ever seen, with one of the sexiest innie belly buttons I had ever seen. She was so cute that I just had to a buy the magazine, but I didn't have enough time, as I was already late getting back to one of my engineering classes, and so I decided to come back later to buy the magazine. I don't remember whether it was later that afternoon or the next day, but on my next trip to the bookstore, I discovered, to my horror, that it had already been replaced by the next month's issue! I still remember how cute that swimwear model was and how much I regret never getting her cute face & outrageously sexy belly button in any magazine photos to take home with me.
